First I had a call with a recruiter to go over salary expectations and to do a quick resume review to see if I was a good fit. Then I chatted with the hiring manager, which was a pretty technical chat but more focused on my hands-on experience. After that, I met with three people from the team. They asked some standard interview questions, but it was mostly a chill conversation and gave me a good vibe of the team. The last step was a demo based on some notes they gave me for a scenario. The demo interview was awesome, they made it feel real and gave me some solid feedback at the end.

The hiring process was pretty smooth. First, I had a quick chat with the recruiter. Then, I had a few more calls with the hiring manager, some of my potential teammates, and a few other folks from different departments. Everyone I talked to was really nice, which gave me a good sense of the company's vibe and personality. It was a bit tough because it was during Covid when everything was going remote, and it was a new thing for everyone involved. They were planning for an in-person final interview, but they switched it to a virtual on-site instead. It was a long day of meeting various team members and ended with me giving a presentation and demo where I had to show off the product and my presentation skills.

This whole thing took about 2 months. It started with 2 remote interviews with the Hiring Manager and a Senior Solutions Engineer. Then, there was a half-day onsite where I had to do a case study and give a presentation. They were checking to see if I had the right technical skills, experience dealing with customers, and if I could work well with both technical and non-technical folks.
