The interview process moved very quickly and was extremely comprehensive. In my experience, they were looking for character fit and authenticity as skills and success can be learned and achieved through training. Everyone was knowledgeable about their role, the role i was appplying for, and the company culture as a whole. Overall it was very straight forward and easy to determine that it was the right fit for me. I was interviewing with 5 other companies in similar stages of the interview process for all of them and Contentful, from the beginning, always felt the best.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process kicked off with a phone screening from a Contentful recruiter. At the end of that call, I was informed that they wanted to proceed. Following that, I had a second interview with a Sales Development Representative based in Denver, and again, I was told they wished to move forward. The final stage was a two-hour panel interview, which was divided into four 30-minute segments conducted back-to-back with four different managers. The whole process wrapped up in about two weeks. All communications were pleasant and clear, and I was kept informed about what I needed to prepare for each interview.

Behavioral Other

Really bad experience! After a 30-minute meeting where they presented the company and the role, and I shared my experiences, I discussed the next steps with the recruiter. Her enthusiastic tone made me think I'd at least get a second interview. The next morning, I received an AUTOMATIC reply (noreply) saying I wasn't selected, with no reason given... I tried to follow up for more details, but got no response...
