I applied and went through a few steps, but then they ended my candidacy without giving me a reason and wouldn't provide any feedback. The interviewers were really arrogant and rude, like they thought they were superior. They actually picked apart my previous work, criticizing how I solved problems practically using standard methods because they just didn't like those methods at Contentful.

I interviewed at Contentful (Berlin) in Oct 2021. All rounds were remote. The intro call covered the role, design team, and interview process. Round 1 was a portfolio review presentation (60 mins), followed by questions. Round 2 was a case study presentation (Intro + presentation + questions) (20 mins). Glad there was no take home assignment.

I got an initial reach out from an internal recruiter via LinkedIn. We had a 30-minute call, and the recruiter seemed nice. They asked typical interview questions and then requested my portfolio. I ended up building my portfolio over the weekend and sent it. Unfortunately, the recruiter went radio silent after that, not even sending a courtesy rejection email, which I found pretty unprofessional.
