I didn't pass the very first round and I don't have any idea why. The interview was about talking about myself. I always have a positive attitude at interviews and usually have great communication with an interviewer. However, this interviewer was negative since the first minute of the interview. The only technical question that I got, I answered correctly. After a couple of days, I got a rejection email from noreply email and that was it.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

So first I had an online interview with the recruitment manager. He asked me general questions about my experience and my expectations. Then I had an online technical interview. I was given several tasks that determined my overall knowledge of JavaScript language. After that, I got an online interview with the Engineering Manager. He asked me more in-depth questions about my experience as a developer and told me about processes in the company. After that, I was invited for an on-site interview. Actually, it was a series of interviews that took most of the workday. It was a very two-sided process. Everyone who interviewed me made sure to tell me about what it's like to work for Contentful. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. I also had an on-site technical workshop. It was a big task to determine my knowledge of JavaScript and my way of thinking. It was very interesting for me. The whole process (starting with the first interview and ending with final offer) wasn't slow or dragged out. They gave me feedback as soon as they had it, and I appreciate it.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The whole process had 4 steps. The first one was a interview with someone from HR where I was questioned about my career and some explanation about Contentful. In the second step, I got a code challenge with two tasks that took me around 1h to finish. After that I was invited for a workshop at Contentful's office where I had the chance to work in a small task with some of my future colleagues and show some things that I did in the past. In the last step, I was asked by the HR to give them two people who they could contact and ask about how it was to work with me. This whole process took less than a month! And everyone at Contentful was super nice and friendly with me. Best hiring process I ever participated for sure
