The interview process was pretty thorough, with six calls in total. The HR team was super organized and always kept me updated. First, I had a chat with the recruiter, then a technical test. After that, two calls with other Support Team members followed. Finally, two interviews with the managers I'd be working with wrapped it all up. Even though the number of calls felt a bit much at first, looking back, it's really cool that I got to interview with future colleagues, not just recruiters and managers. It really helps you (and them) see if you'll click, and gives you a clear picture of the job.

Behavioral Technical

I saw the job ads for the Support Engineer role on Glassdoor and applied. About three weeks later, a recruiter reached out via email. The first step was an initial screening with a Senior Recruiter to discuss my availability, salary expectations, current compensation, and typical job duties. Then, I had a Zoom call with the Team Lead, which was also quite basic, focusing on the role and team size. The next Zoom interview was with a Team member and got more technical, which I really enjoyed. After that, I had a Zoom interview with the VP of Customer Success, which was more behavioral, and I also got to ask about the company's vision. Another Zoom interview followed with a different Team member, focusing on how to handle difficult clients or users. The final interview was with the Hiring Manager via Zoom, which I found to be the most challenging, with many behavioral questions. I received an offer a week later. This was a really smooth process for me as an international candidate; the recruiters were very accommodating with time zone differences, and the interview panel was great. The questions were alright, though I wish there were more about challenges. Each interview was scheduled for 30 minutes, but some went longer, which was fine.

The hiring process was pretty fast and uncomplicated. I went through four interviews and completed one take-home assessment. The interviews included a chat with the recruiter, the hiring manager, a peer interview with a future teammate, and a discussion about the technical assessment. The technical assessment itself was straightforward and enjoyable. It gave them a good sense of my technical capabilities, and I learned a lot about Contentful, which was great since I'd already used it for my website.
