Event Security
I wore a suit and tie for the interview. We talked about my availability for their events and they gave me a general rundown of how their scheduling works. They mentioned hourly pay is between $16-$18, varying by event. They also said I could be promoted to a supervisor role if I do well.
- Could you work shifts at the State Fair?
Security Guard
It's just one interview and then a background check. You'll have orientation on Thursday and start working Friday. They give you a uniform and sometimes cover the cost of your license. Fingerprints are needed. They don't always have enough work though.
