I got an email from HR, replied to it, and they set up an interview. The interview went well in my opinion, but I was let down by how they handled it. If they had sent an email saying I wasn't a fit, I would have been fine with that, but they didn't even bother to get back to me. I know finding candidates and applying for jobs is tough, so a courtesy email would have been appreciated. For a law firm, I really expected them to at least say something like “sorry we found a better candidate.” But whatever, I'm just glad I'm not working there.

I talked to a bunch of the attorneys, some one-on-one and then some all together for my last interview. It felt really professional. It's always a bit stressful, especially the group interview, but the attorneys were really nice. They basically just wanted to give me a clear idea of what a typical day at CLG is like and see if it would be a good fit for everyone.

This was a pretty standard interview process. Mostly just asking about my willingness to put in the hours. The boss, though, he makes a lot of promises he doesn't keep with any real rewards. It's tough out there for attorneys, so this place goes through them really fast. He doesn't mention the high turnover or how unhappy people are.
