Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Constellation Energy.
Intern
The interview process for Constellation Energy internships starts with checking your application, then you'll have phone or video calls where they'll ask about your technical knowledge, how you handle situations, and if you can solve problems. After that, there might be more interviews or tests.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully navigated a difficult situation?
IT Intern
I got a call from Constellation Energy in the evening about an onsite interview the next morning. I told them I needed more time and asked if we could reschedule. The HR said she could move it a couple of working days later, but they weren't going to interview for this position for many more days. I had to accept the interview for the next day, giving me only one night to prepare. The day started early, and I went through five rounds. The second round was very technical, while the others mainly asked questions about my resume.
- Can you describe your current job responsibilities?
Intern
It was a very traditional interview process. They asked about scenarios showing strong teamwork, conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving skills. They really want to understand your work ethic and values. They were also very open about the kind of candidate they're looking for. Overall, it was a great interview experience!
- Tell me about a situation where you experienced a conflict with someone else. What steps did you take to manage it, and what was the final result?
