Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Constellation Energy.
Business Analyst
Met with 3 people from the DM team, who were 1 manager and 2 analysts. They asked me questions about my previous experience regarding various analyst topics like SQL and databases. They said they would call me in a few days. My recruiter called me the next morning and told me I got the job. I then started 2 weeks later.
- Can you describe a situation where you encountered a problem with inaccurate data in the database?
Business Analyst
Got a referral from an inside contact, then got a call the next day and scheduled an interview for two days later. It was with a group of 4 people and was a great experience overall. It felt formal yet relaxed. They asked for a resume overview, discussed my education, work history, and personal interests. It lasted about 45 minutes and concluded with them explaining the next steps and timeline.
- What would be your ideal job, and what are your 5-year career goals?
- What information do you have about our company?
- Can you share an instance of a mistake you made in school, work, or volunteering, and describe how you rectified it?
Business Analyst
There were multiple interview rounds and it was a lengthy process. A recruiter did a pre-screen, and two weeks later I was scheduled for another interview, but the questions were difficult.
- Can you describe your past experience and its relevance to this role?
- What motivates you to seek employment with our company?
