It was a good and open chat, not too stressful. The process had 3 stages: first with HR, then with the team manager, and finally with the sales manager. We talked about my experience and the deal sizes I've handled, and I gave examples of how I've been successful.

They really drilled me on my performance metrics, especially focusing on activity KPIs like daily calls, emails, and conversations. It felt like a red flag when they mentioned expecting over 500 calls weekly. While metrics are important, quota attainment should be the priority. They seemed to want to know if I was already hitting 100+ calls daily and if I'd keep that up. With my Business Development background, the 'spray and pray' approach isn't effective anymore. I decided it wasn't a good fit because I was getting bad vibes from the interviewers, and later confirmed it through Glassdoor reviews.
