So, I went through the interviews, and apparently, I passed. The recruiter, Aimee Celina, even told me they were getting my offer letter ready. I was pretty hopeful, you know, waiting for the next steps. But then... radio silence. I tried to follow up, but she just ghosted me. It's super frustrating and honestly not professional to be left hanging like that, especially after being told an offer was coming. Basic communication is really key, and they just didn't deliver.

I went through a 3-stage interview: Initial, Technical, and Hiring Manager. Everything was quick and smooth. Applied Jan 5, got a call Jan 14 about an offer. BUT they ghosted me after that, no communication about a withdrawn offer. They should have at least told me instead of making me wait months with no updates. The initial interview asked usual stuff to check my skills and fit. The technical interview was really about syntaxes, architecture, and structure. The Hiring Manager interview was mainly about assessing my fit for the role, using situational questions to check my analytical, critical thinking, quick-thinking, and communication skills.

The first call with the recruiter felt a bit all over the place and short. She sounded like she was in a rush, which made me think she couldn't really get a good grasp of my background. She was talking fast and seemed out of breath, which made me a bit uncomfortable and worried she might miss important stuff I was saying. But, I still got through that first bit. After that, I talked with the Director, the Sales Manager, and the Recruitment Team Lead. Those chats went well – they were professional, engaging, and we had some good talks. However, I never heard back with any feedback after the last interview. I tried reaching out to the recruiter again on LinkedIn, but she just left me on read, no reply at all. Not getting any communication or a clear end to the process felt pretty unprofessional and a bummer. Honestly, because of how that first chat went and the lack of follow-up, it was a pretty disappointing and insensitive interview experience. I really hope Jenny Reyes can change how she does candidate interviews and gives feedback. I'm writing this hoping other candidates have a better and more respectful time.

I heard back from a Senior Recruiter about 2 days after I applied. We had a phone chat first so she could get a quick idea of my background and technical abilities. We then continued the conversation on Viber and shared more details about the job. The next day, I was informed the client wanted to interview me and got a meeting invite. I had a week to get ready, learn more about what the job involves, the client company's history, and who would be interviewing me. After the client interview, I got the good news just 4 hours later – I got the job! They said I'd get a form for the offer. I also had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss terms before they drew up the paperwork. The next day, I got the documents and signed them for processing. I had a month to sort out my pre-employment stuff. The company laptop arrived in my province 3 days before I was supposed to start. Getting set up with ConnectOS was super fast (big thanks to Cass!), and the client's onboarding was smooth too. I was able to start working the week after without any hitches.
