Sales Representative
They explained what CEG is about and their different 'theories'. It felt rushed, like they were busy. They spoke very quickly.
- Can you explain the difference between direct and indirect sales?
Sales Representative
I went through three interviews. The first one was a quick 5-minute chat with a manager to see what I was interested in and if it aligned with the company, and they also gave a brief overview of the company structure. Then, I had two more interviews, one with the Verizon team and one with the sports marketing division. These last two interviews were identical: a salesperson took me out in their car to show me the day-to-day of their job and the career progression opportunities available. I ended up getting an offer from the sports marketing team, but I declined it.
- All the questions asked were very straightforward and easy; nothing unexpected came up.
Sales Representative
Applied online and had a pretty straightforward interview. There were two interviews in total: some initial questions over the phone, followed by an in-person meeting. The office was impressive upon arrival, and the receptionist was very friendly. During the in-person interview, the manager asked me to discuss my background and sales experience, along with several questions about management, which suggested potential for career advancement. They seemed genuinely interested in both me and my resume. I got a call the very next day to start training.
- Can you talk about yourself and your background in sales?
- What's your approach to dealing with an angry customer?
