First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Conn's.
Assistant Manager
The interview process has been really quick and easy. Everyone I've met has been so nice and friendly. I was very happy when I visited the store. I had a face-to-face interview.
- Can you discuss your previous job experience and skills?
Manager
The recruiter was nice, but the hiring manager had me first interview with people who turned out to be not who the recruiter said they were. I looked them up on LinkedIn and the recruiter lied about their actual roles and titles. The first person never showed up or emailed me, then called an hour later expecting me to drop everything and interview right then, which wouldn't work since I am working. So I withdrew.

Manager
The interview process was really detailed, organized, and informative. The liaison was super helpful throughout the whole thing, and follow-ups were fast and thorough. They also made the onboarding experience amazing. Everyone was friendly, they gave a detailed job description, and the engagement was outstanding.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
