Account Manager
The recruiting interview was awesome, the hiring manager really helped out at every step. During the hiring manager interview, they kept helping me out, making it super easy to schedule. Going into the C-level interview, the help was still there, making things smooth for everyone. The case study part wasn't any different, with the hiring manager guiding me so I totally got what I needed to do. Even in the German proof interview, help was easy to get, showing they wanted the whole thing to go smoothly. Then the offer came, which was the end of a process that was just really well-supported and efficient all the way through.
- Can you tell me about your past work in this field, specifically focusing on account management duties?
- What prior experience do you have relevant to this position?
- What challenges have you faced in account management?
Account Manager
The recruiter disqualified me because of their strict 4-day in-office requirement, which they're calling "hybrid." Apparently, this is a dealbreaker for many. If it's truly hybrid, it should be more flexible, like 2-3 days, not a full 5-day week with just Fridays remote.
- Are you willing to commit to a 4-day in-office work week at our NYC location?
Account Manager
I had an initial call with a recruiter that seemed to go well. They mentioned they'd update me after the weekend, but then I just got a rejection email with no explanation.
