So I did this interview a couple weeks ago. First it was an online interview, and then they scheduled an in-person one. The process itself was fine, but after that, they just ghosted me. They told me to follow up, I did, and then... nothing. Sent another email, still silence. Not even a rejection, which I think is pretty unprofessional, even if you don't get the job.

Had a phone call, though the interviewer seemed unprepared, not having my resume or knowing how I applied. Despite my 5+ years of enterprise client experience creating solutions and driving revenue, he asked about my company knowledge. I mentioned using their software for executive reporting. I was proactive, asking how I could make an impact, but he seemed to just read qualifications. After following up via text/email, I was ghosted for a week before receiving an automated rejection. I felt overqualified, and being ghosted for a role I've trained others in felt odd. The only mismatch was their "golf" outings, which I don't participate in, and their company profile suggests a lack of diversity.

First, there was a phone interview. After that, I had a 1-hour in-person interview. They looked at my computer skills and my grammar by having me write a mock email. I also watched a senior BDM on his calls for 30 minutes before the interview wrapped up.

The interview process was short and to the point. I talked to one person for an initial screening, then later my future supervisor. They ask direct questions. Because they get a lot of unqualified applicants, they do a lot of screening. They are looking for someone who is a good cultural fit and has a basic skill set. They do provide training.
