After talking to an interviewer at a career fair, I was moved into the interview process for the internship. It involved 2 interviews before receiving an offer. The interviewers were really nice and kind and answered all my questions. They asked basic STAR interview questions.

First there was a phone screening, then formal interviews happened. Because of Covid, all interviews were on Zoom. There were a total of 7 interviews, each lasting about 45 minutes. I thought it went well, it was all behavioral questions and some in-depth questions about my prior experience, but the focus was mostly on behavioral aspects. They said they'd let me know the following week, but they waited two weeks and then sent a generic email saying I didn't get the job. What a terrible way to treat someone who took time off work for this, just to send a template email with no explanation or feedback. I'm actually glad I didn't get an offer after that experience; if that's how they treat candidates they're serious about, I don't want to know how they treat their employees. It's pretty pathetic.

Behavioral Technical

It began with a phone call to go over my basic HR info and background. Then, I went in for an in-person interview with the hiring team. It was pretty straightforward. Five people interviewed me. They all started by asking me to talk about myself. After that, they got into specific questions, like asking about a time I had to pressure a vendor or how I handle conflict. It's really important to have concrete examples for these. The questions were similar from one interviewer to the next, just worded differently. I felt it went well. Asking questions is key, and make sure they're the right ones so you don't end up doing all the talking. The team was very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, no pressure at all. Their culture seems to be about encouraging learning and self-challenge.
