Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Conagra Brands.
Manufacturing Supervisor
The interview process was pretty disorganized. I only got an automated email after the 1.5 hour on-site interview, and then nothing. It was disappointing they didn't follow up with a personal email or call, no matter what.
- Can you tell me about a situation where you motivated a diverse group of people?
Production Operator
I put my resume in online. They called within a week. I just had an interview with the production supervisor. They said they will call by next Friday with the woman that called me in the first place. The interviewer did say "I hope they hire you". So I don't think it's up to the interviewer to hire or not. He asked the questions on a piece of paper and wrote my answers in.
- How much are you comfortable lifting, and are you okay with working 13-1 shifts?
Production Supervisor
It started with a plant tour, then I met with the HR assistant for what felt like a long time. She was on the phone a lot and updating an email about safety training completion, plus she was chewing ice very loudly. She didn't know much about what I asked and wasn't very professional. After that, I had a group interview with 8 managers and then we had lunch.
- What improvements did you notice on the production floor?
