It was the first round interview. They asked me a bunch of competency-based questions to see if I had the qualities, knowledge, skills, or behaviors needed for the job. I had to give examples of how I'd handled situations before, explain what I did, and say what happened. Using the STAR method helped structure my answers. They even gave me some tips beforehand, which was good. I'm waiting to hear about the next round.

The entire interview process was straightforward and quick. It consisted of two interviews: one with the hiring manager and another with a senior manager. Most questions were competence-based and required answers using the STAR method. They followed up quickly after each interview.

Submitted my resume through my brother-in-law and also online. Had a phone interview about a week later that lasted an hour. They said then that I would be brought in for a face to face interview. I followed up two weeks later with two emails to them asking for an update. A week after that, I got an email saying the position had been filled internally.
