Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Computer Task Group.
Software Engineer
The interview process with the clients was interactive. They really take pride in their work. There was prompt follow up and they offered me a position. The whole process was very organized. I had access to the client building and they helped with orientation. They had quick follow up, like in a day.
- Can you describe your experience arranging things with clients?
- Was the interview entirely technical in nature?
Software Engineer
Started with a phone interview. There was a conference call with 5 people where we mostly discussed my experience. Then, I had an on-site interview. The lead explained their projects to me and then we moved on to 1:1 interviews. The process was straightforward, without many technical skill tests. It was a pretty quick process overall.
- Could you elaborate on the projects mentioned in your resume?
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty standard. I had a client interview and took an exam. After passing the exam, I was offered the position. However, it sometimes feels like the client isn't sure about their requirements, as the exam covered technical questions readily available online.
