IT Recruiter
This was one of the worst interviews ever. The company's recruiter called me and asked a lot of probing questions about my previous employer. They wanted to know why I wasn't working full-time and asked many questions about my education and how I organize it, which had nothing to do with the job. I was asked several intrusive questions about my past work experience, as if they were trying to find fault. After a few days, I received an email stating they had nothing for me or their clients. How can someone in HR make such a statement? It says a lot about the company and their disrespectful treatment of people. If you feel someone's profile isn't a good fit, you can say it's not a match and explain why, but such a blunt response was unnecessary. They automatically assumed I expected the same employment conditions as my previous employer? I'd rather work for a company that evolves with the times.
- Why did you work part-time previously (with the assumption that I was looking for something part-time again, even though I explicitly stated I wanted full-time, one of the many traps)?
- Are you looking for something part-time again (even though I explicitly said I want to work full-time, one of the many traps)?
Recruiter
The process moved really fast, like 3 days. I was impressed with how quick it was. The job was remote. Getting the equipment happened fast too. They didn't help much setting it up though. Training on their systems started right after the equipment was connected. If you like putting people in chairs, this is a good place.
- What's your commitment level for monthly hires?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
We started with a phone call to see if you were a good fit for the role, then a video call to dive deeper into your skills and experience, and finally an in-person meeting with the team for a practical exercise.
- What are your strengths for this position and in terms of personality?
