Recruiter
After submitting my CV, I had a 30-minute phone interview with a psychologist, which was a standard interview. Three days later, I was invited to the next round, an online interview with my future team lead and some employees from other departments. I had the chance to ask questions and was also asked questions, particularly about my motivation for changing roles. The third round involved an in-person meeting at the headquarters in Düsseldorf with key team leaders, counterparts, and team members. We reviewed my CV, and I was given 9 questions to guide our discussion, focusing on open/closed questions, needs assessment, and interview techniques. Ultimately, I received a job offer. The entire process was very well-organized.
- Can you tell me about your most significant career achievement?
- What drives your desire for a career change?
- What is your greatest professional success?

There were 5 interviews, but honestly, they could have done it in 2. The whole process is way too long and doesn't respect your time at all. The last interview had me meeting 5 people and lasted 2.5 hours. If they decide not to offer you, you don't hear back, which is pretty disappointing and feels very transactional.
- Asked standard questions, some of which showed they hadn't even prepared beforehand.
- They asked very superficial questions, which can lead to inaccurate assumptions on their end and shows how transactional they are.

I applied for an ad online for the Sthree group and was then called by their internal recruiter. She did a phone screen with me which went well. Focused on motivation, past sales experience, personality etc. Then I think it was a face to face with a manager in the office. Again went through the CV, asked loads of questions to get my personality. Tip to succeed is to research the company thoroughly, make sure you apply for other recruitment companies, know phrases in the industry like eshot, interview to placement ratio, candidate acquisition strategy etc. Clearly describe your motivation for the job and be ambitious. There was other rounds of giving a presentation on yourself, spending 45 minutes on the phone doing a trial in calling people about jobs. They do a few scenarios to give you an idea of what you'd be doing.
- What is your motivation and what drives you?
