First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Computer Futures Solutions.
Recruiter
After submitting my CV, I had a 30-minute phone interview with a psychologist, which was a standard interview. Three days later, I was invited to the next round, an online interview with my future team lead and some employees from other departments. I had the chance to ask questions and was also asked questions, particularly about my motivation for changing roles. The third round involved an in-person meeting at the headquarters in Düsseldorf with key team leaders, counterparts, and team members. We reviewed my CV, and I was given 9 questions to guide our discussion, focusing on open/closed questions, needs assessment, and interview techniques. Ultimately, I received a job offer. The entire process was very well-organized.
- Can you tell me about your most significant career achievement?
- What drives your desire for a career change?
- What is your greatest professional success?
Sales
super thorough process they really care about - first you have an intro call with the recruiter, then you interview with the head of the team, then an in-person interview where you have to present a powerpoint about yourself and do a role-play. The recruiter is really involved and does a great job keeping you ready for what's next, but it was more work than my other offers. I highly suggest asking lots of detailed questions, and coming prepared with answers for pretty much any behavioral question you can think of.
- Tell me about a time you showed persistence in your personal life.
- Describe a situation where you set goals but didn't achieve them.
Subject Matter Expert
The interview process for this role moved quickly at first, with the recruiter emphasizing an urgent need for a candidate. However, this urgency seemed to fade, leading to a waiting period of nearly a month. Ultimately, the company cited budget issues as the reason for not proceeding. Be aware that this company tends to make candidates go through many steps, including revising their resume to fit the job description, followed by significant delays and a lack of communication. This can result in not getting the position after investing considerable effort. It's not worth your time.
- Could you describe your experience with VMWare and virtualization technologies?
Sales Consultant
I applied on LinkedIn and was contacted by an internal recruiter named Bailey. She had a brief initial call with me. Then, Bailey scheduled a more in-depth phone interview to discuss the role and assess my fit. After that, I had an on-site interview with a team manager, Matt, and a brand manager, Leon. This was a standard interview with fit and behavioral questions, concluding with a role-play exercise with Matt. The next stage was an on-site 'Work Sample' where I had to simulate talking to candidates over the phone and networking, focusing on extracting information quickly, as they wanted to see if I could think on my feet and gather information effectively. We had lunch afterward. The final on-site interview was a presentation to the VP overseeing the territory and some brand managers. They wanted to see how well I understood the role and if I had strong presentation skills, crucial for sales. This was followed by a conversational, question-based interview. It was a really positive experience; I felt the company was very committed to finding the right person.
- Could you explain your interest in staffing and recruiting, and why you're pursuing a sales career?
- What draws you to a career in sales?
