The interview process was pretty fast and seemed really fair. It all wrapped up in about a month. It kicked off with a phone screening, then an interview. The recruiter was super helpful the whole time, answering all my questions and keeping me in the loop about what was next. The in-person part included a standard interview, and because I was going for an Applications Engineer role, I also had to give a presentation on a technical subject I picked.

It was a pretty standard interview process. Started with a screening call with HR. Then I had a follow-up phone interview with the director of the department. After that, I went to an on-site interview at the Denver office with my direct manager. The last round was in Buffalo Grove, IL, our headquarters, where I interviewed with several team members, including VPs and the President. It was a really informative and relaxed experience overall. Everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout the hiring process. I got a call with an offer the next week.

I got referred by someone who works there. The whole process took over two months because of the holidays. Once things got back to normal business hours, I had my interviews at Computer Aided Technology in Buffalo Grove, IL, in the middle to late part of January, and then I started at the beginning of February. Even though it took a while, they kept me in the loop about everything and what was coming next. It was a really good experience meeting a lot of the people who work there (my future coworkers) and the management/owners. CATI is a smaller to medium-sized company but has great company culture and benefits. Talking to a bunch of people during the interview process really makes sure you'll be a good fit with the company. (It also makes you really want to join!) I like puzzles and games, so I saw this process as a challenge, but it was worth it. You need to be ready, look polished, and be honest to do well in this tough process. If you end up joining, just know you've found a place to stay for the next 5 to 10 years.
