The hiring procedure is pretty standard; first, you have a communication round with HR. After they shortlist you, a technical round happens. Usually, if you pass the technical round, you're in. After that, there's a round with a manager and then a client round. If you succeed in all those rounds, there's a final HR round for salary discussions.

I've given many interviews, but I've noticed something. Sometimes interviewers ask about things that aren't even used in the specific project. If they plan to train you and use many other technologies not part of the project, why do they expect you to know everything in detail? I've seen people from non-tech backgrounds do really well in very techy projects because practice makes perfect. Interviewers should really check if a candidate is eager to learn new things, ready to take on challenges and succeed, and willing to work hard with honesty. Also, candidates should be current with their knowledge and ready to dive in.

I had a phone interview with HR. They asked me the standard knockout questions and then three questions about the job. They didn't tell me anything about the company culture or how it's structured. The whole thing was under 20 minutes. They said they'd let me know within a week, and I got an offer from their temp division in 5 days.
