Behavioral Presentation

It started with a phone interview, mostly a screening to check if you meet the qualifications for the role. After that, there was a virtual interview conducted on camera with a manager. In this part, you'd role-play as if you were the guidance specialist and demonstrate how you would handle a client call.

A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn, and we discussed pay rates for part-time ($17/hr) and full-time ($19/hr) roles, and she encouraged me to apply. I had an initial interview on 11/26 that lasted over 30 minutes, focusing on how I handle crisis calls, though the company mostly deals with intake and referrals. This role involves 12-minute calls, with all equipment provided and set start dates. There's a mandatory 3-week training. She shared shift options for part-time roles, all 20 hours/week: Mon-Fri 8:30a-12:30p CST, Mon-Fri 10a-2p CST, or Mon-Fri 2p-6p CST. The next step was an 18-minute online assessment. After reviewing my interview and assessment results, the team lead decided whether to schedule a second interview. I received a rejection email on 11/29.

The ComPsych recruiter missed our first meeting and rescheduled for the next day. The interview was super short, under ten minutes. They said they'd call back in a few days about next steps, but then completely ghosted me. It was really unprofessional, especially since this recruiter works directly for ComPsych. Makes you wonder if the company culture is toxic.
