I was a bit worried about this company given Glassdoor reviews, but decided to go for it. First, I had a 15-minute phone interview with HR where they asked typical questions like about my experience, my toughest problem and solution, and my daily tasks. After that, we set up an in-person meeting. When I got there for the meeting with HR, I was given a packet of math and problem-solving questions to complete within a time limit. Following the test, I met with my potential supervisor and another team member. While HR seemed nice and accommodating, the supervisor and team members gave off a vibe that they weren't thrilled to be there. Also, on my way up, I overheard some employees complaining about management and being overworked. I did get an offer, which made me think they really needed someone fast. I turned it down because even though the location is good, what I saw and heard made it too risky to switch jobs.

Applied online and heard back about a week later. Got an on-the-spot phone interview with HR who then asked me to come in for an in-person interview. The in-person interview was downtown with another HR person. Both interviews were pretty standard, nothing too surprising. They told me more about the company and this role, and other jobs. At the end, I met another recruiter who talked to me about a different open position. He asked about my salary expectations, which were too high for that role, so he suggested I check out other openings on their website.

The process started with an HR manager reaching out. When I got there for the interview, I met with him and he gave me a timed test. He left the room during the test and came back about a minute after the timer went off, which made me wonder if it was a test to see if I'd stop when the timer went off. Having to take a test for an interview made me feel really bad about ComPysch as a potential employer. It was embarassing and condescending. I'm not in grade school anymore! Then, I interviewed with the people I would be supporting if I got the job. They seemed unfriendly and uncertain about what they were looking for. Their interview questions were very vague. I didn't get much of a sense of the office culture, other than it was a room full of high-walled cubicles and harsh neon lights. I didn't get the job (thankfully, because within a few weeks I had two great offers) but from what I could tell, it's not somewhere I would have wanted to work. Also, they took several weeks to even tell me I didn't get the offer (rude) and then had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to interview for another open position.
