Specialist
I got a call from the Recruiter on the HR team, who was really nice and helpful. They answered all my questions about the job, the salary, and the rest of the interview steps. The Recruiter mentioned that the VP of my department wanted to meet me and I managed to set up an interview for the very next day. When I got there, the front desk staff were super welcoming and the Recruiter came to get me and took me to the VP's office. The interview felt like a casual chat, which helped me feel comfortable and be myself. I got a really good feeling about the place and even got a quick tour of the office when we wrapped up. I'm so glad I took the job because I really love it here!
- Can you describe a situation when...
Marketing Manager
The interview process was quite easy and ran smoothly. It started with a phone screening with HR where we talked about the role and the salary range. Then there were two group/panel interviews, the first with colleagues and the second with the hiring managers. It felt like a standard corporate interview, nothing unexpected.
- Could you tell me about your strengths?
- What about your weaknesses?
Administrative Position
Had a great phone interview and good communication from HR. Was excited to go in. It seemed like a great fun team. Some weird questions came up from interviewers though. Overall it was a good experience. I did my best to answer politely but didn't get the job.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Are you married?
- What are your reasons for wanting to leave your current job?
Event Manager
Got a fast response after initial contact and they were good about rescheduling my interview because of surgery. But, what I thought would be an informational chat turned into a surprise intensive interview with 5 people from 3 different departments. After that interview day, there was hardly any follow-up from anyone I spoke with, and my emails asking for updates were ignored. This happened twice, two different years, with the company.
- Can you tell me about a difficult situation in event management where you encountered an uncooperative or hostile person from another company and how you managed to resolve it?
