First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Compassion International.
Intern
Applied and got a phone screen with a recruiter to talk about cultural fit. Then there was a combined technical and behavioral interview with the hiring manager or team members. Some folks got take-home assignments, while others did live coding where they walked through basic Python operations.

IT Intern
The interview process was super smooth. I applied way back in Sept or Oct and then heard back in Jan. First up was a HireVue, with a mix of questions. They asked a get-to-know-you question about what I want to do long-term, and then some behavioral ones like about starting and finishing a project and what skills I have. The next interview was a Faith check, also pretty smooth. They asked things like what God has been teaching me lately, so definitely be ready to talk about your faith. The final interview was with the Director of the team I was applying for. This one was more technical, covering my resume and throwing in another behavioral and a faith question. Make sure you're ready to talk about your tech skills and how you fit with Compassion's goals for the role. The whole thing took about a month and some change. Good luck!
- What are your long term career aspirations?
- Describe a time you started a project and saw it through to completion.
- What are your key skills?
Intern
The first stage involved completing some short essay questions alongside your resume and a faith statement. After that, there was a quick chat with HR, and then I spoke with the department director.
- How have you personally embraced your faith?
