The interview process for the QA Engineer role started with an online written test covering aptitude and technical topics. Approximately 20 candidates were shortlisted for the second round, which was a practical testing phase. We were given a simulated ATM website to test for bugs and suggest enhancements, reporting our findings in a notepad file. After this, 10 candidates moved on to two technical interview rounds. The first technical interview was supportive, focusing on my past projects and fundamental technical concepts. Following this, 5 candidates advanced to the final interview. I was the last candidate interviewed, and it seemed they had already identified three suitable candidates. I was asked only one question, which I couldn't answer, leading to my rejection. Finally, three candidates were invited for an HR discussion and were selected.
