L&D Business Partner
I had a test at a site that was being closed, then an interview at the new site on a separate day which included a presentation. The test and interview could have been held on the same day at the same location since the test was only 30 minutes and it wasn't used as a filter since the interview was already booked in. It was a very relaxed interview and presentation.
- Can you walk me through your previous experience, mostly looking at your CV?
Support Worker
After submitting your application online, it gets reviewed and sent to the hiring manager for an interview. This interview is meant to be very thorough, honest, and informative. You'll need to wait for a DBS check before we can bring you on board. It's pretty refreshing because a staff member and a service user are involved in the interview process.
- Tell me about your experience and how it qualifies you for this role.
- What's your understanding of what this job entails?
Community Support Worker
The interview process was standard and well laid out, which is great for individuals new to social care. It wasn't overly formal but still professional. The interview took place at the location of the vacant post. They provided quick feedback after the interview.
