Project Manager
The interview for Senior Project Manager at CommonSpirit was quite structured and technically oriented. They were mainly interested in how you handle specific workflows and operational details, rather than asking about your past work or special abilities. It was more about knowing their project management ways and technical steps than showing off what you've done before. The questions were designed to see if you knew their particular methods and technical procedures, which made it tough to talk about new ideas or things you'd already accomplished.
- Walk me through how you identify, manage, and record scope creep on very complex projects.
- What's your method for using project management software to monitor scope changes and explain how they affect resources and schedules?
Project Manager
The whole process took over two months, which I endured because the job seemed so interesting and I was initially told it would be remote. Surprise! After I accepted the offer, I was informed that the job is no longer remote, which is a huge issue for many reasons. This bait and switch tactic reflects very poorly on the company, and their refusal to offer remote or hybrid work shows they're behind the times. I feel like I dodged a bullet, but I wanted to warn others that if Dignity says remote, they might change their minds.
- Tell me about a time you handled a challenging situation.
Project Manager
This was a group interview that lasted 30 minutes. They asked a lot of questions about my experience but nothing about values. The interview went well, and I heard back about the job within a week. It seems like a good place to work.
- Can you share your experience with data entry?
