I was interviewed by the IT manager and at the end her boss joined and we worked through a problem-solving question together. First, we went over my resume and talked about class hierarchy and interfaces. Then, I had to give a presentation about my last project. Finally, we tackled a problem-solving question.

The interview included general questions about my education and experience. There were also some technical questions, but no questions about my portfolio (which I didn't have). The atmosphere was good for someone used to a traditional resume-based hiring process. Having a portfolio might really impress the interviewer and recruiter. (It seems most tech companies only interview developers with strong GitHub profiles and/or personal website portfolios.)

I applied and then got a link for an online coding test. It had a variety of difficulty levels, including questions like fizz buzz and number/date formatting. After the test, I had an in-person interview with four people. They kept it really relaxed and joked around a lot. They asked about my past jobs and programming experience, and then I had to write some functions on a whiteboard. After that, I had a brief chat with someone from HR where we talked about my previous jobs and what I expect to get paid.
