Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Comerica.
Staff Auditor
The interview process was laid-back and not intimidating at all. I met with several senior managers. They were mainly interested in learning about my resume, skills, and personal qualities, and asked about my motivation for pursuing internal auditing. My advice is to be ready to ask them questions about the bank.
- Could you share your three most significant strengths?
Internal Auditor
I interviewed with every manager and director, and each interview was about 30 minutes long. The interviewers didn't really focus on the job requirements, mostly on supervisory skills. They were all located next to each other. Two interviewers were new and didn't know specifics about the job. The ones who had been with the Bank didn't give me any specific expectations, challenges, or responsibilities for the role.
- How would you manage your time?
- Tell me about your supervisory skills.
Auditor
you will face a group panel of managers and directors who will ask about your previous experience. afterwards, they will discuss and you will find out the same day or the next day if you will be hired. this is my experience and the experience of others in the department. the turn around time is great
