First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Comdata.
Customer Service Representative
They called and asked about my work permit and residence status. They also asked where I live, if I'm able to go to work, and how long I am planning to stay in France. I think the first interview was mostly to check if I speak English and communicate well.
- Can you tell me about your residence status and work permit?
- I don't think they offer sponsorships.
Account Manager
I found this job with Comdata thanks to a recruitment agency, and ended up having just one in-person interview before they offered me the position. The whole thing was pretty fast, lasting only about 15-20 minutes. I met with the person who would be my manager and also the trainer for new hires. We covered typical interview questions like my strengths, weaknesses, previous work history, and asked me to introduce myself. They also had me talk about what I think my personality type is, similar to a Myers Briggs assessment.
- Can you describe a challenge you've faced and how you managed to overcome it?
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What are some of your key strengths?
Collector
Had a basic in-person interview. It was pretty standard with general interview questions. Then I got a call for a second interview. Nothing out of the ordinary like testing was requested. The second interview call back wasn't very long. After that, there was a drug test and background check.
- What are you going to bring to Comdata?
- What is your best attribute?
- What is your least favorite attribute?
Call Center Operator
It was short, direct, and formal. The questions were perfectly targeted to understand the candidate's strengths. Subjective questions were asked based on the candidate's experiences. However, the whole process was conducted in a way that made the subject feel at ease.
- What are your future projects and intentions?
- Can you describe your period of maximum stress?
