Sales Associate
First you get contacted by a recruiter who schedules a video interview with you. It’s more like a “screening” than an interview though. The recruiter does ask interview questions though. If you get a second interview, it is also video, and it’s with a hiring manager. Then you will have to complete a third interview with another manager from department you applied for. Third interview is just over the phone. Honestly the second interview was exhausting, it was over an hour. I must admit I don’t think I was answering questions properly, so that added time. However I’m positive it is long regardless. There is a PowerPoint on the company and benefits, the position, and training before the questions even start. That took about 30 min alone.
- Tell me about your interest in this role and why you think you are a good fit.
- How do you handle objections during sales interactions?

So I had a phone interview, which was great! It was easy going and made me feel comfortable about the interview questions. The next step however I didn't like. It was all timed testing, and then if you don't get it done fast enough, you're automatically rejected. I unfortunately was having internet issues and lost connection a few times so I didn't get to finish some of the questions. It just seems cold to basically not meet face to face, and have a test determine whether you're good enough to go to the next step.
- Tell me about dealing with conflict or issues between coworkers.

Started with an application, then an online assessment that took about 45 minutes. After that, there was a phone interview, followed by 3 to 4 more interviews. The whole process was pretty good, lots of STAR method questions throughout. The phone interview was with a really nice lady, and she asked several STAR questions. The one-on-one interviews were similar, focusing on behavioral and situational questions about customer service.
- Can you recount a time you handled an upset customer?
- Share an instance of assisting a customer facing financial difficulties with a service.
