Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Comcast Business.
Enterprise Sales
The interview started well with the recruiter setting expectations and timelines. However, the process slowed down and timelines shifted. They cited PTO and general busyness for the delays. Most of my follow-up emails were ignored, except for one to the HR rep. The recruiter called me for two minutes to deliver the decision and offered no constructive feedback, which was missing throughout.
- What are the consequences if sales targets are not met?
Sales Representative
I applied online and a recruiter reached out to discuss some things. Then there was an assessment, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and other team members. Finally, I had to complete a full application on the company's website.
- Can you share an example of a similar situation you've faced?
Sales
I had a 3rd party recruiter do an initial screen for about 20 minutes. After that, I was given a Comcast test. The test involved a list of their products, some sold in bundles and some individually, and then presented with customer situations. You had to figure out the best pricing for these scenarios. This part, plus some behavioral questions, took around 2 hours.
- How would you handle a situation where your colleagues in the office are being noisy? For example, would you talk to them, approach management, or speak louder to the prospect?
- What are your options if your coworkers are making noise in the office?
