First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Combined Insurance.
Territory Manager
There were three interviews: a phone screening, an initial in-person meeting, and a ride-along. The ride-along was meant to let the interviewer see how I understood and worked in the ancillary insurance market. It did that, and I got a feel for Combined Insurance's setup and how they approach getting into the Philadelphia market.
- Can you discuss your sales background?
- In terms of sales dollars, what has been your previous success level?
Territory Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked me typical questions. For a management direct hire role, you really need to show that you've been successful in the past. Once I proved I had made over $50K previously selling insurance, I got the job.
- Can you share an example of your past success?
- How have you demonstrated success in your previous roles?
District Manager
There are multiple steps to this interview which you must conduct yourself in a business manner. You will be interviewing with a few different individuals. When you are in the process they will ask you if you have any questions and give you direct answers. They will want to make sure that this is the right fit before they move forward due to the large investment they make when they hire you. Trust me it is worth the process!
- Can you share your sales or insurance background?
