The interview process was quick and very intentional, all 3 interviews wrapped up in about 3-4 days. They wanted to know about my past experience and how it would fit their needs, and I was able to start the following Monday.

I went through two interviews with Columbia Sportswear Company. The first one was with HR where we talked about general stuff like how much I wanted to make and why I wanted to work there. The second interview was with the hiring manager and we went over the job details more. HR then asked me for a third interview, but I passed on it since I had already taken another job.

I applied in December and it took over a month to hear back. The interviews went well once started. First, I spoke with a communicative recruiter, then the hiring manager, followed by an HR person. Then, I interviewed with another team member. The last interview was in-person. I was told I was one of 3 candidates and it would take a while for a decision because another candidate was on vacation. The recruiter said she'd have info by the end of the next week. After two months of waiting and having to follow up, I found out they hired someone else. I'm still waiting for an official response.

The interview process was not streamlined and Columbia Sportswear doesn't value candidates' time. I interviewed back in December 2023, and after following up a few days after, I didn't receive an update until the first week of January 2024, notifying me that they'd decided to move forward with other candidates. Then, just today, February 8th, I received another email from the recruiter saying they've decided to move forward with other candidates. Thanks for the duplicate notification?
