First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Collins Aerospace.
Maintenance Technician
I was contacted by an outsourced hiring agency who cold-called me unexpectedly on the first day, while I was actually in another interview. When I finally managed to schedule a proper call with them, they were over 20 minutes late. During the call, they proposed an hourly wage that was $7 less than what I was looking for, and they stated that $20/hour would be the absolute ceiling. The person I spoke with also had a very strong accent, which made it difficult for me to understand them.
- Would you be okay with earning a maximum of $20 per hour?
Process Technician
The interview was pretty chill because the interviewer made it a relaxed experience and I felt I could just be myself. The interviewer from Collin's aerospace was fantastic. My job experience was also great.
- Could you tell me about your greatest strength?
Quality Technician
Everyone was really nice, the interview was smooth and quick, not difficult at all. They answered all my questions and helped me out from start to finish. They even offered me water and ice pops when I arrived. The test basically involved some addition, subtraction, and division problems, plus figuring out some fraction equivalents.
- Can you list the measurement tools you are familiar with?
- What is your proficiency in English?
- Do you have any basic computer programming skills?
