First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Collins Aerospace.
Systems Engineer
I interviewed at a college career fair. It was an in-person, one-on-one interview with someone from a similar team that lasted about an hour. It was mostly behavioral questions, and I had time to ask questions at the end.
- What makes you want to be an engineer?
Systems Engineer
It was very relaxed and not scary, a conversation about your experience and what you are looking for. The only downside was that the rejection was automated. Other than that, the people were very nice and the interview was relaxed.
- Can you tell us about your past experience?
- What are you looking for in terms of career goals?
- Describe your experience with the tools mentioned in the job description.
Systems Engineer
The interview was good. The interviewer asked basic mathematics and statistics questions that are relevant but not typically required for a senior-level role. The questions seemed to be sourced from the internet. During the technical round, nothing related to system engineering was asked.
- In a tournament with 8 teams, where each team must play every other team, what is the total number of matches played?
