I sent in my application online and then I had to do this pre-recorded video interview for Colliers in Edmonton, AB, back in September 2025. There were 4 questions that I had about 1 to 1:30 minutes to explain and record my answers for each. Then there were 2 more questions about my salary expectations and when I'm available to start.

The hiring process was quite detailed and thorough. After applying online, I received a call from HR who walked me through the steps. This was followed by a comprehensive phone screening that included a full background check. About a week later, I had a one-on-one interview with the VP of the Western region, which was a lengthy discussion covering both professional and personal aspects. Subsequently, I met with the team leads to get a feel for the work environment, and some technical questions were asked, but they were standard for the role. Even though the hiring and interview process took a while, it felt appropriate for the requirements of this position.

Online interview with a very prepared and available HR professional. They presented the company well, talked about all the characteristics and functions of the position in question, and answered all questions. Unfortunately, the position in question had a salary range much lower than the market.
