Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Colliers.
Marketing Assistant
I got contacted on LinkedIn pretty quickly after applying, which led to a screening call. I passed that, and they said they'd send a personality quiz to see if I fit with the team, but I never got it. Another company that ghosted me!
- What makes you a good candidate for this role?
Marketing Executive
Applied online, then got a call 2 weeks later for an interview. It was one on one with a recruiter. They focused on my past jobs and really wanted to know about my previous salary, commission, and income. We also talked a bit about what I know about Colliers. The interview was entirely in English. I wasn't really prepared because they invited me the afternoon before the interview. A week later, I got an email saying I didn't pass, but they encouraged me to apply again later. It was a professional experience.
- Can you describe your achievements?
- What is your salary history?
- What was your income and commission from previous roles?
Digital Marketing Executive
The whole thing was super fast, like four days total. I first chatted with two managers for about 40 minutes. Then, the second interview, which was 30 minutes long, was more about them trying to sell the company to me. They got back to me really quickly and even offered a decent package, which was more than I initially asked for. After I accepted, the onboarding process was really welcoming.
- Can you describe yourself in three words?
