The process started with a phone call from a recruiter in Canada, who wasn't part of the office I'd be working in. They asked standard screening questions and went over the job details. Next, I had a video chat with a recruiter from the actual office, which lasted about an hour and felt pretty casual. Unfortunately, there was a long holiday break. After that, the Canadian recruiter emailed to say interviews were still happening and I should expect to hear back in two weeks. Then, I was ghosted, and my follow-up emails got no response.

I started with a formal online application that was pretty basic, just asking for my resume, work history, and a few essay-style questions. Then I had two phone interviews. The first was with the office president, where we talked about my previous jobs and why I wanted to work there. The second phone interview was with the lead broker, and they dug deeper into my understanding of the market and asked some behavioral questions. Finally, I had one in-person interview at the office where I met the whole team and they asked me a bunch of questions.

Behavioral Technical

I had a phone call with the managers, then met with agents, brokers, and team members to talk about team dynamics and what the team needs. It was pretty casual, mostly to see if I was a personality fit and if I had basic fundamentals and was quick to pick up and learn.
