The interview process took longer than expected, spanning a whole month to get to the next stage. The interviewers were knowledgeable and asked good questions, but then they ghosted me. It took over two weeks to get an update on my application status.

A recruiter reached out to me initially and set up the first video interview. Unfortunately, they misspelled my name on the invite, so I didn't get it. The recruiter called me later, asking why I missed the call, which was their mistake. After they fixed it, they scheduled an initial call with two senior staff members. This first interview was quite basic, and one of the interviewers seemed disengaged. The call ended on a generally positive note, and they mentioned scheduling a second call. The second video call happened 10 weeks later. It seemed positive, and they told me I was the only candidate they were interviewing. About 6 weeks after that, they informed me that 'things had changed' and the qualifications for the role were modified. There was no communication between the video calls.

After I applied, a recruiter contacted me for a virtual interview with the team I would be working with. It was about an hour long and seemed to go well. They asked general questions about my work style and leadership. They said they wanted to schedule an in-person interview for the following week. HR didn't schedule it, and I had to keep following up to find out the position was filled without anyone telling me.

  • Can you describe a time you faced a stressful situation and had to step up and take the lead?
