Behavioral Technical Presentation

I went through a 3-month interview process in Europe for this role. It involved 6 Zoom interviews total, ending with a panel interview where I had to give a solution presentation. The recruiter gave me great feedback throughout. The final panel included 6 people, 2 of whom were executives. They liked my presentation, but one exec had to leave early due to network issues. I was told I'd have a quick follow-up call with him for his input. After waiting 3 weeks with no word, I got a rejection without any explanation. I asked the recruiter why, and he said he was swamped and gave me an HR email. I emailed twice for feedback, but still no response. Honestly, I don't think this company is worth your time.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The hiring process was a lengthy one, involving several phone interviews covering business and experience, followed by a technical interview. Then there was a panel presentation for the regional team, and a technical assignment that took a few days to complete, involving watching videos. The whole process was quite involved and required a significant time commitment. I went through all stages, and it took about 4 months. Communication from Collibra during the hiring process wasn't the best; it seemed like they were still developing their recruitment skills. At the end of the last stage, I received no feedback from the hiring manager or others involved, despite my follow-up. They said a decision would be made soon, but still no feedback. It's disappointing that after investing 3-4 months in their process, they couldn't take a few minutes to provide a response, especially a negative one. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and suggests why there might be high turnover there. I wouldn't recommend investing time in this hiring process, even if they seem very interested. It feels like they're testing their ability to attract candidates. Showing interest up to the final stages (more than 5 interviews plus a technical assignment) and then ghosting without feedback is really unprofessional. These observations are for EMEA managers; it might differ in the US.

The application process is simple. You'll get instant feedback during the first interview call. If they like you, they'll set up another interview to move forward. I really suggest asking for feedback on the phone call.
