Product Manager Intern
The interview process included an online cognitive assessment, followed by three essay questions. After that, there was an AI chatbot interview via Milo, then a recruiter screen to discuss next steps. The final stage consisted of interviews with the hiring manager, focusing mainly on behavioral questions and product sense. It was a pretty standard behavioral process, not as rigorous as other companies.

Product Manager
It was a pretty long and drawn out process. I had a screening call with a recruiter, then I had to do an IQ/cultural assessment. After that, there was a hiring manager interview, followed by a product sense interview and then a product execution interview. If I had made it through these, I would have had to do an engineering planning interview and then some kind of presentation. I actually failed the IQ/cultural assessment, but they passed me through anyway because they couldn’t find any other candidates. I had a good call with the hiring manager. The recruiter then “prepared” me for the product sense and product execution interviews. Both of those interviews did not go anything like how I was told they would. The product sense questions were unclear and didn’t align with what the recruiter mentioned. I also couldn’t get any contextual info out of the interviewer, which is crucial for answering product sense questions. The product execution interviewer didn’t seem to have product experience, as she asked me something that would never fly in real life. It seems like they value frameworks and formulaic thinking over real product experience, and they are trying too hard to fit “product led thinking” into the culture.

Just so you know, this company is known for rejecting candidates even if they're super qualified. The process has a bunch of stages: first, you talk to the recruiter. Then, you'll do two take-home tests, which seems to be where they start weeding people out. If you pass those, you might get to talk to the hiring manager, and there are two interviews with them. If they're impressed, you'll have another round which involves a presentation you need to put together. It's a lot of steps, very intense. Looking at Glassdoor, it seems like a lot of people who apply don't get hired, not because they aren't good, but because the process feels more like a game show than a job interview.
