The interview process is lengthy and feels a bit dated. They seem to really favor candidates with fintech or crypto backgrounds, and rarely reach out to people from other industries, so don't be discouraged if you don't hear back. The first stage involves some kind of IQ test, which I think can be easily manipulated. After that, you do a portfolio presentation with the recruiter. They record this and show it to the hiring manager, and then you have to present it again to the manager in the next round. Honestly, it feels unnecessary and not a great use of time. There are about two more presentation rounds where they request several changes to your presentation. Following that, there are three rounds focused on whiteboarding, critiquing an app, and assessing culture fit. The process can be quick if they need someone urgently, but it includes too many rounds that aren't really needed.

This was by far the longest interview process I've been through. It started with a technical recruiter chat, followed by two assessment tests. Then, I had to record a 15-minute overview of my case study over GMeet. If the hiring manager liked that, I got to talk with them. If I passed that, the final stage involved a whiteboard challenge, an app critique, and a behavioral interview. The interviewers were really nice and casual, which was kind of funny considering how long the process was. I didn't get an offer in the end because they wanted to see more visual impact in my work.

The interview started with a really good recruiter call. Then I got a link for what felt like an IQ test and a super long personality test. I practiced with some CCAT tests and did great, and then took the actual tests. After that, I got a generic rejection email, no feedback. It's weird because I don't see how that relates to design or the job itself. The whole thing felt very automated and impersonal. If you did pass the tests, you then had to record yourself giving a portfolio presentation. So, three rounds before even talking to a designer. It felt like something out of a dystopian movie.
