Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CohnReznick.
Tax Intern
It was a relaxed interview process, and I had the chance to talk with really nice people who seemed genuinely interested in my personal interests and future career path. It felt much less stressful than interviews at larger firms, where they tend to ask very technical questions that most students wouldn't know. The whole experience felt very personal, and I enjoyed getting to know everyone. I will say, the entire process took about 6 to 7 calls and interviews and spanned about 2 months.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Tax Associate
The interview process included an initial screening, followed by a "superday" event featuring three consecutive interviews. These interviews were primarily behavioral in nature and had a relaxed atmosphere. The most challenging question asked was about study habits.
- Could you describe your study habits?
Tax Analyst
The interview process was straightforward and positive. Candidates with an accounting background should find it manageable. There were three technical interview rounds. The first was a written test, followed by an interview with a manager, and the final round was with senior managers.
- What are the basics of accounting?
- Can you explain journal entries?
