Audit
The interview process for the Busy Season Audit role was straightforward. It consisted of one interview, primarily focused on reviewing your resume, with minimal behavioral questions. You'd typically be interviewed by a partner or senior manager, but as an intern, there were no second-round interviews. The interviewer was very friendly, and the session lasted about 45 minutes. About a week after the interview, you'd receive a job offer over the phone.
- Could you tell me about the most challenging class you took during your college years?
Tax Professional
I applied through Indeed.com. Initially, I got a call from the White Plains office about an internship. Since it wasn't convenient, they mentioned a role in their NYC office. The process was super quick! A recruiter from the NYC office called me the same day and set up an interview within a few days. On the interview day, three people interviewed me for about two hours, asking both personal and professional questions. They said I'd hear back in two weeks, and true to their word, they called after two weeks with a job offer!
- What made you decide to go into accounting?
Tax Professional
I applied through my school's career website. After the career fair, I had a campus interview about two weeks later. Unfortunately, about two weeks after my interview, I got an email saying they didn't need me, so I didn't get the position.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Describe how you handle school projects.
- Which subject do you enjoy the most in school?
