Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CohnReznick.
Audit Intern
I had two 30-minute interviews back to back. One was behavioral and the other was technical. Overall, it was a really positive and welcoming experience. The interviewers seemed genuinely interested in learning about my interests, my past experiences, how I've handled challenges, and just getting to know me as a person.
- Tell me about your experience working in a team.
Audit Associate
The interview process starts with a quick phone chat, then you'll have one or two in-person or video meetings with the team, which can include managers and even partners. Some people get through the whole thing in under two weeks.
- Can you tell me about your experience auditing financial statements?
- Describe your approach to handling complex projects.
- How do you approach managing multiple tasks at the same time?
Senior Auditor
I talked with a few people, including managers and partners. They were all really nice and the conversations were very laid back. I didn't prepare a whole lot, and it turned out fine. We discussed my current role and any issues I have with it. We also talked a lot about work-life balance. I ended up staying at my current job because I got a raise after sharing what CR was offering.
- Can you describe your current job?
- What are the pain points in your current position?
- Let's discuss your work-life balance.
